Aron Einar Gunnarsson

Aron Einar Gunnarsson captain of the Icelandic national football team, of course, gets his honorary chair at Bryggjan resturant. He was brought up in Þór and showed early strokes of genius with the ball. In 2006, he joined with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands only seventeen years old, and two years later he went to Coventry, where he played three season. He was also getting picked in Icelandic national team at this really young age. Then he made his way to the Welsh company Cardiff City and now plays his second season with the team that is top of the Premier B league and a good chance of getting into the Premier League this spring. Aaron has played over 200 league games in England with Coventry and Cardiff and Lars Lagerbäck, Icelandic national team coach in football, has decided to make Aron Einar Gunnarsson captain of the in the World Cup 2014.
